About Copenhagen Business School (CBS)

The Copenhagen Business School (CBS) was established in 1917 and is one of the largest business schools in Europe with more than 17,000 students.  CBS offers world-class research-based degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. levels, as well as executive and other professional programs.  On August 1st, 2011, CBS was the first school in Scandinavia to receive accreditation by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). CBS has thus acquired 'The Triple Crown,' an acknowledgement shared by only about 50 business schools worldwide. These schools are all among the very top business schools, and include INSEAD, London Business School, IMD, and Rotterdam School of Management. In addition, each year, Eduniversal, which is part of the French consultancy SMBG, ranks the world’s 1,000 best business schools. The focus of this ranking is on the institutions’ international significance and prestige. In 2013, for the 6th time, CBS got an excellent ranking – number three in the world after Harvard and London Business School.
