About WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management
WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is one of the leading business schools in Germany.  In 2010, WHU was the fourth business school in Germany accredited by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which is one of the most significant accrediting bodies for business schools worldwide. In 1998, WHU became the first German business school to be accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). In March, 2009, the accreditation was extended for another five years. This recognition is granted as a sign of approval for international business schools. In the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking published in 2011, the MSc Program of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management was awarded sixth place in the international ranking and was the highest ranked of any German program.

Program Overview
WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management offers a two-week International Business program on "The Changing Environment for International Business in Europe".  The program will focus on global business, finance, and corporate strategy and will cover topics concerning European integration, European competition policy, and doing business in Eastern Europe.  Stern students who successfully complete this program earn 3 credits. All courses are taught in English, but students are encouraged to take a German language course in the afternoon of the first week of the program.

Course Structure
Course activities include:

  • Lectures

  • Group project

  • Final exam

  • Corporate visit

  • Visit to the European Central Bank or the Deutsche Bundesbank 


Course Costs and Accommodations

  • WHU Registration Fee: €389, paid directly to WHU-Koblenz, which includes:

    • All course materials

    • Airport pick-ups

    • Welcome and farewell receptions

    • Lunches

    • Field trips

    • Social events

    • Two-week local bus ticket 

  • Accommodations: WHU will provide accommodations for the participants; however, students must pay in cash upon arrival. Housing prices range from €250 to €320 for the two weeks. Please make your accommodation selection on your registration form as early as possible, since room requests will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
