NYU Non-Stern Students

As a NYU Non-Stern student (other than those in joint-degree programs) you can take up to six credits per term, but you must register through your division program advisor. Reservations for Fall 2012 will be accepted from June 18 through September 5 (Day Classes) and September 19 (Langone Classes).

Reservations for Summer 2012 is still being accepted through May 12.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Please be aware that some core classes are restricted.
  • Please be aware that the Stern Graduate School of Business uses a different Fall 2012 calendar than the regular NYU calendar.
  • All students enrolled in Stern graduate courses must adhere to Stern's policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct along with the default policies for Stern courses.
  • If you are not registered on Albert by the end of the registration period, you will be automatically dropped from the class.
  • Non-Stern students may not audit Stern MBA classes.
Check Your Prerequisites
Before registering for courses at the Graduate Stern School, please confirm (with your advisor) that you have met the prerequisites for the course(s) by reviewing the prerequisites with our online Course Descriptions.

Course Registration Procedure

  1. The Fall 2012 Course Schedule
    You can search by department or print the entire schedule. Any schedule or instructor changes will be updated in real-time.
  2. Cross Registration Form
    Please submit this form to your academic advisor. You do not need approval from a Stern Academic Advisor.
  3. Permission Codes
    If seats are available in the class, your advisor will be given the permission code. You will need this code to register through Albert.
  4. Stern Account Activation
    Students automatically get a Stern account after registering; this account must be activated in order to access Stern class resources.
