Pre-MBA Corporate Programs

Throughout the spring and summer, MBA Admissions receives information about corporate opportunities for incoming NYU Stern students. Please view the programs and their application deadlines below.

Note: Summer Start students will not be able to participate in programs that conflict with the Summer Start schedule.
 
Bain & Company 2015 Diversity Pre-MBA Program
June 4-5, 2015

This program aims to attract Black/African American, Latino/Hispanic, and Native American MBA students interested in learning more about international strategy consulting as a career path. The action-packed two-day event will be held on June 4–5, 2015 in Bain’s New York office with some highlights that include, attending seminars about what a career as a Bain Consultant entails and how impactful the work at Bain is, networking with senior Consultants and Partners from around the Bain system, hearing from Bain alumni on how Bain prepared them for success in their careers, receiving tips and real-life examples on how to navigate B-school and your job search and getting to know your future MBA peers from other top schools around the world. Bank of America Merrill Lynch MBA Diversity Fellowship Program
Application deadline is Sunday, April 26th, 2015
The Bank of America Merrill Lynch MBA Diversity Fellowship Program will award merit-based fellowships to Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, military veterans, LGBT, students with disabilities and women entering business school in Fall 2015. Successful candidates will receive $40,000 of total tuition and fees towards the first year of your MBA Program, a paid summer internship with Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) businesses including: Investment Banking, Public Finance or Research, and the opportunity to receive a further $40,000 of total tuition and fees for the second year of your MBA program upon successful completion of the GBAM Summer Associate Program and acceptance of a 2017 full-time offer. Deloitte Consulting Immersion Program

Learn the basics of consulting and evaluate the depth, breadth and quality of opportunities at Deloitte Consulting. This three day conference, hosted at Deloitte University from July 10th – 12th, is designed to help you get more out of your first year in business school and the internship recruiting process. You will be introduced to industry thought leaders and similarly motivated peers. DCIP provides an early platform to share your ideas and begin building your own broad network of professionals — the people who can help you customize your career and achieve your goals. Admitted MBA students who are female and/or Black or African-American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, Asian, or two or more races are encouraged to apply. Forté’s 2015 MBA Women’s Leadership Conference

4th Annual JumpStart Brand Management and Marketing Diversity Forum

12th Annual JumpStart MBA Financial Services and Consulting Diversity Forum

Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) Professional Development Program
Applications for Round 2 are due April 1, 2015 and will be available in mid-March.
MLT’s MBA Professional Development program provides Rising Leaders with the winning playbook and critical relationships they need to get on and stay on the career fast track after graduation. The MBA Professional Development program starts as soon as Rising Leaders are admitted to graduate school; provides significant pre-matriculation support, coaching, and engagement with top employers; and continues through the full-time recruiting process. The MBA Professional Development program takes a long-term approach to career acceleration and provides Rising Leaders with a personalized career roadmap, skills, one-on-one coaching from an MLT coach, and a high-leverage network that they can leverage throughout their careers. McKinsey & Company Emerging Scholars Program
Application deadline is Thursday, May 21st, 2015
This summer McKinsey & Company is sponsoring the third annual Emerging Scholars program. Winners will be selected for cash rewards and other benefits including, ongoing mentorship from current consultants, networking opportunities with fellow peers across top MBA campuses and an invitation to a celebratory weekend event in Chicago this summer.
