McKinsey & Company Emerging Scholars

McKinsey & Company is sponsoring their sixth annual Emerging Scholars program. Emerging Scholars is a scholarship, a networking opportunity, and a celebration for pre-MBA students. Amazon is excited to host our inaugural Pre-MBA Summit this July here at Amazon HQ in Seattle! The Summit is open to all incoming first-year MBA students and is designed to help students build skills that will help them through their business school experience and through the internship recruiting process. Amazon’s Summit provides an early platform to share ideas and begin building their personal network of professionals. Participants should expect a rigorous and educational experience, role specific training and development, and the opportunity to interview for a 2019 Amazon internship.

Q: What is the Pre-MBA Summit?
A: A three day summit designed for students entering their first year of business school who are interested in learning about Amazon’s culture, role specific training and development, and networking with Amazon leaders. Participants should expect to learn through challenging case studies and simulations, build interview skills, and will have the opportunity to interview for a 2019 Summer Internship.
 
Q: Who can apply to the summit?
A: The Amazon Pre-MBA Summit is open to all incoming first-year business school students. Admitted students who are female and/or Black or African-American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or two or more races are strongly encouraged to apply.
