Throughout the spring and summer, MBA Admissions receives information about corporate opportunities for incoming NYU Stern students. Please view the programs and their application deadlines below.

Note: Summer Start students will not be able to participate in programs that conflict with the Summer Start schedule.

Diversity Pre-MBA Program

The Diversity Pre-MBA Program is an opportunity for pre-matriculating MBAs of Black/African American, Latino/Hispanic and Native American descent to attend a two-day long event, where they will gain direct exposure to Bain Consultants and the consulting industry.

2014 Bank of America Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) MBA Diversity Fellowship Program

The Bank of America Merrill Lynch MBA Diversity Fellowship Program will award merit-based fellowships to women, Blacks/African Americans, LGBT, Hispanics/Latinos, Alaskan Native/American Indian, military veterans, and students with disabilities entering business school in Fall 2014.

Program Details:

• The Fellowship will cover $40,000 of total tuition and fees for the first year of the recipient’s MBA program.
• Bank of America Merrill Lynch will provide a paid summer internship (between the first and second year of the MBA program) within the Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) groups: Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Research, or Public Finance.
• Upon successful completion of the GBAM Summer Associate Program and acceptance of a full-time offer for 2016, the Fellowship will cover $40,000 of total tuition and fees for the second year of the recipient’s MBA program.
• Please note: Fellowship amount may be adjusted for students receiving funding from alternate sources.

2014 International Admitted Student Receptions
Events held between May - July

Over the next few months a number of BCG's offices in EMEA, Latin America, and Asia Pacific will host receptions for newly admitted MBA candidates. For international candidates these events allow prospective students to hear about opportunities within the consulting industry in their home countries before they head to their MBA program. Many candidates have told us they especially appreciated the chance to network with future MBA colleagues at these events. JumpStart Advisory Group Diversity Forum and Scholarship
Brand Management and Marketing Forum Application Deadline: April 13
Financial Services and Consulting Forum Application Deadline: May 11


The JumpStart Advisory Group will conduct the JumpStart MBA Diversity Forum for Financial Services and Consulting and the JumpStart MBA Brand Management and Marketing Diversity Forums. Over 1,500 incoming MBA students have participated in these diversity forums since 2004 and attribute their summer internship and full-time employment success to the learning and networking environment created by the forums.

Additionally, they have launched the JumpStart Award for Excellence Scholarship (a $2,000 merit-based award) for incoming MBAs. The Diversity Forums and Award for Excellence are open to incoming African American/Black, Hispanic or Latino, Alaskan Native/American Indian, Asian, Pacific Islander and Women MBA students. International students are also encouraged to apply.

Wells Fargo Securities Pre-MBA Women's Forum

Annual Pre-MBA Women’s Forum is an event to broaden students' understanding of the financial services sector, including career opportunities in investment banking at Wells Fargo Securities. The program will include an overview of Wells Fargo’s history and culture, career and industry overview workshops, and networking.
