Donor Awards

Through the generous support of alumni and friends of NYU Stern, students have another opportunity to receive funding for their MBA degree. Donor awards are scholarships that are awarded by NYU Stern Graduate Financial Aid to eligible Full-time MBA students.

All donor awards at NYU Stern are merit-based and are awarded in the fall semester based on the criteria established by the donors. Typically, no application is necessary as we consider all eligible students for this type of award. Donor awards that require an application are listed below.


Scholarships for Incoming Students

Kenshin Oshima Scholarship
An award for a first-year student showing a deep and abiding interest in Asian culture, and for a second-year student achieving a distinguished academic record.

Harvey Beker Scholarship and Application Instructions
Support for first-year students who demonstrate an interest in philanthropy and an understanding of the importance of giving back to the School.

Hess Foundation Fellowship and Application Instructions
The Hess Foundation Fellowships are awarded annually to two first-year M.B.A. students who have an interest in a career in the energy industry.

Stern Military Service Scholarship and Application Instructions
Awarded to a first-year student who demonstrates an ability to leverage his/her military background and leadership skills to serve as a role model at Stern.

Military Veterans Scholarship
A two-year award covering full tuition for exceptional military candidates.

National Science Foundation and NYU Aspire Scholarship and Application Instructions
An interdisciplinary scholarship for MBA students planning to enter the field of information security.

Moral Contract Scholarship and Application Instructions
Awarded to a first-year student with a demonstrated interest in philanthropy and giving back to the School.

Ilene Kaplan Memorial Scholarship Program and Application Instructions
An award for a student demonstrating a deep interest in marketing and/or market research.
