Core Groups

Core Groups consist of the classmates with whom you take your first core classes at Stern during your first semester.  Part-time MBA students join their core groups for the first time during the mandatory orientation. Core groups consist of approximately 60 students, and offer you the chance to network and socialize with a smaller group of your incoming class. Aside from learning about the subject matter in your core courses, through your Core Group you will hear announcements and plan social and networking events. Each Core Group has a $1,000 budget to spend as you choose during your two semesters in the group. During your second semester, you will have the option to remain with your Core Group or take core courses with other groups.

The table below outlines the core groups for Spring 2013.  You may only register for one core group.
