BES faculty are actively involved in assisting research and teaching at other institutions.  BES Faculty have taught at the University of Michigan, Northwestern University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  BES Faculty direct part of the research effort at the Technology, Business and Environment Program at MIT.

BES faculty also act as advisors to for-profit and not-for-profit environmental organizations. Principal among these organizations are Innovest Strategic Value Advisors and the Council on Economic Priorities.
