Professor Steven
Kaplan is the Neubauer Family Professor of Entrepreneurship and
Finance at the University of Chicago, where he has taught since
1988 and currently serves as faculty director of the Entrepreneurship
Program. One of the world's leading scholars in entrepreneurial
finance, Professor Kaplan has published extensively on issues related
to venture capital, e-commerce, corporate governance, leveraged
buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, boards of directors, and corporate
finance.
