Professor of StatisticsGary Simon is a Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at Stern. He has also taught at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Princeton University. He has published papers on a wide range of statistical topics, including categorical data, nonparametric methods, missing data in regression, collecting sensitive information, and measurement of spatial association. Professor Simon's concern for ethical issues in business stems from seeing too often the abuse of the impartiality of statistical methods for unworthy ends.
