IOMS Department Events

Faculty in the IOMS Department organize three research seminar series, two brown bag lunch series and other ad hoc seminar series. In addition, our faculty are involved in organizing both special interest group workshops and major conferences.

The three Research Seminar Series focus on research topics in Information Systems, Operations Management, and Statistics and are held weekly throughout the academic year. On the left are links to each group's seminar series.

In addition, the Stern School maintains a Faculty Events page where research seminars through Stern To learn more about seminars presented by all academic departments at Stern, go to the Stern Faculty Events page.

The two Informal Research Seminar Series, one in Information Systems and one in Operations Management, are held for IS and OM faculty and doctoral students as an avenue to discuss ongoing research by doctoral students as well as joint research between faculty and doctoral students. These discussions are an integral part of the IS and OM doctoral programs.
