NYU Venture Mentor Network

The NYU Stern Venture Mentor Network (VMN) provides individualized help and guidance to NYU students, alumni, faculty and staff who are trying to start or grow entrepreneurial ventures.

Our network consists of successful entrepreneurs, investors, executives, consultants and faculty, who volunteer to coach and mentor venture founders and managers and help them address the many issues typical ventures face--How do I protect my intellectual property? What is the best legal structure for my company? How do I write a marketing plan? How do I value my venture? How do I raise money? These and many other questions continually arise and are often outside of the experience or skills of the first-time entrepreneur. VMN allows NYU-affiliated entrepreneurs to draw on the advice and guidance of a team of mentors with proven skills and relevant experiences.
