About CeDER

The Center for Digital Economy Research at NYU Stern supports research on information technology in business. We focus on the information technology, digital media and financial services industries with an emphasis on electronic commerce and electronic markets.

– CeDER Charter Objectives

•  Provide intellectual leadership on how information technologies are transforming business and society.
•  Stimulate research about the business of the emerging digital economy.
•  Create forums for engaging business leaders, IT professionals, scholars, and students in discourse about the intersection of research and practice in the digital economy.
•  Support faculty development and curricular innovation.

Leadership:

CeDER is led by Co-Directors Vasant Dhar (Professor and Chair of the Information Systems Group) and Anindya Ghose (Associate Professor of Information, Operations, and Management Sciences and Robert L. & Dale Atkins Rosen Faculty Fellow). The combined efforts of our faculty, directed by the above mentioned research tracks and aided by NYU Stern's myriad resources and connections, are integral in achieving CeDER's mission of developing and implementing ways of using information technology to optimize business.
