UNDP Consultant, Biodiveristy Finance Initiative:
  • Description: UNDP is seeking the services of a Junior Consultant, with a focus on researching sustainable finance, as well as, to provide support on related knowledge management and advocacy tasks. The consultant will be hosted within the Sustainable Development Cluster team in New York. 
  • Eligibility:  To be considered for this consultancy, the consultant must either be a US Permanent Resident, US Citizen, or holder of a valid G4 visa at the time of their application and whose G4 visa has been acquired on account of their partner’s full time employment in the UN Systems based in New York or Washington, DC. The consultant will work from UNDP’s Headquarters offices in New York;

Accountant - The Rainforest Alliance
Overview: The accountant is responsible for the processing and documenting of all cash deposits and documenting all non-RA Cert funding including wires, credit cards and checks, as well as credit cards payments received by third parties on behalf of the Rainforest Alliance. The Accountant will also prepare and send bills for the outstanding amounts due for contracts, and assist the Rainforest Alliance accounting department in processing invoices and collections for other program division as needed. S/he also assists in audit preparation and with the overall monthly close process. S/he will work closely with internal and external clients and provide general support to the accounting department as needed.

Research Analyst - Social Impact Private Investments
Overview: This role is a unique opportunity to help philanthropists, foundations, families and individuals who are serious about investing for the greater good. The individual will work with a small team to identify and evaluate new impact-focused private equity and venture capital investments and develop long term relationships with investors in the sector. The individual will meet with clients and prospects to identify and achieve objectives for investing in the asset class. The position will also involve communicating strategy and performance to portfolio managers and clients. This position will report to the Director of Private Investments and work closely with the Director of Sustainable and Impact Investing.
