Is sustainability the new success skill?

On April 11th, join the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development and the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business to learn how you can contribute to a better world, no matter your career path.

Recent studies show that integrating social and environmental impact across industries and functions improves employee engagement, financial performance, and brand value. At this event, hear from industry leaders about why a sustainability lens is critical to bring to any academic degree, field, or role. Through a c-suite panel discussion, “choose-your-own” table talks with company representatives, and an open networking reception, students will walk away with a better understanding of:
  • - How sustainability is defined in terms of environmental and social impact across industries
  • - Why - and how - the most successful leaders mainstream sustainability throughout their organizations
  • - How to translate your personal environmental and social values in any work setting
  • - How to boost your impact by integrating a sustainability lens into your systems-thinking and decision-making skills

The organizations represented will include HBO, PwC, Eileen Fisher, Bloomberg, Peace Corps, JPMorgan Chase, PayPal, Citibank, Pfizer, IBM, NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, JM Kaplan, NYU Langone and more.

Dinner will be served at the beginning of the event. Open to all NYU students. Space is limited - please RSVP at this link.

This event is brought to you with support from an NYU Office of Sustainability Green Grant.
