Center Overview

Center Mission:
The purpose of the Center is to promote faculty research and development that emphasize the global aspects of modern economies and business. Center activities also will serve Stern and the University through outreach to the broader community, including the academic, business, and policy worlds, as well as students and alumni.

Center Activities:
The Center currently supports four research groups and one development initiative. The Center also supports occasional conferences and public programs consistent with its goals that are organized outside these research groups and development initiatives. In addition, the Center may choose to incubate Stern activities that have the potential to become future research groups within the Center.

The Center is funded though an endowment provided by foundations and corporations. The Center seeks further support from interested international firms and foundations, both for endowment and for the funding of specific projects.
