MBA Students Take "Doing Business in… Brazil" Course

In January of 2014, a group of MBA students traveled to Sao Paulo for the Spring 2014 "Doing Business in... Brazil" course. Students attended lectures on Brazilian economics and politics, international trade in emerging markets, and the legal aspects of doing business in Brazil. They also celebrated Latin rhythms with Meninos do Morumbi and the importance of sports culture at the Museo do Futebol.

"DBI Brazil is an amazing experience that teaches students the value of understanding and appreciating different cultures," says MBA student Cassie Valentin. "In order to do business in Brazil, or any other country, it's imperative to understand the region's cultural norms and values as these deeply influence local business practices."
