Biography

Eric R. Max, Esq, is the Director of the NJ Office of Dispute Settlement, a state government office responsible for mediating complex civil cases for the state and federal courts. He has served as a court-appointed mediator in over 1,000 cases, settled claims in excess of $1 billion, and designed a statewide foreclosure mediation program for the courts. Mr. Max has previously taught as a Visiting Lecturer at Princeton and is currently an adjunct faculty member at NYU Law School. He graduated as a distinguished scholar from Boston University School of Law and completed a Specialization in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution at Harvard Law.
