Please complete and submit this application if you need financial aid for the summer sessions.

  • Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
  • You will receive an award letter detailing your summer loan eligibility in the mail.
  • If this is your first time borrowing Federal Stafford Loans, please be sure to file the FAFSA, choose a lender, and complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN).
  • If you have borrowed Federal Stafford Loans before and you have a valid FAFSA on file, your summer loans will be automatically approved and scheduled for disbursement by your existing lender after you submit this application and register for at least 6 credits. You do not have to complete a new MPN.
  • If you are not a Langone student (i.e. PhD, APCLB, TRIUM, Lehman, or EMBA), please indicate your program of study in the Additional Instructions field.

Before you submit this application, please note:

  • You must have a valid FAFSA on file.   
  • You must meet the eligibility criteria for federal aid. 
  • You may borrow up to $10,250. This includes subsidized and unsubsidized amounts.
  • The New York State guarantor, HESC, will charge a 1% Default fee.
