After the unparalleled success of our most recent conferences, Florence 2007: Global Alumni Conference and New York 2008: Alumni Business Conference, NYU Stern is pleased to present our next in this much-anticipated series:
Barcelona 2009: Global Alumni Conference.

Barcelona is the vibrant Catalan capital, a city with a rich Mediterranean culture and history and dynamic industrial tradition.  Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and has become a destination for leisure travelers, as well as for traditional business activity, with a historic city center and noteworthy cultural and architectural attractions.

Expected Conference Format
The Conference will include an opening reception, inclusive of all attendees, scheduled to take place on the first night (Thursday).  The Conference content (panels / keynotes) will run over the course of two days (Friday and Saturday) and will include a special guest track for guests / spouses.  A closing dinner will take place on the final night (Saturday). In addition, optional tours will be made available to all attendees on the Thursday and Sunday of the Conference schedule.

Conference Venue: Casa Llotja de Mar
The former stock exchange, the Casa Llotja de Mar, is a jewel in Barcelona’s history and stands near the city’s waterfront.  It was built during the second half of the 14th century and is one of the most important ensembles of two-story, medieval gothic architecture in the Mediterranean.
