| All Stern School Administrators and Staff should maintain a professional appearance that reflects a sense of pride in themselves and the School. To assist employees in choosing their attire, we offer the following guidelines: | ||||||||

| Business attire should be customary in those departments/areas that regularly deal
with external publics (i.e. alumni, donors, corporate partners, applicants, the media, etc.) or that serve as role
models for our students. In those areas that interact primarily with internal clients (i.e. faculty and staff)
or that interact with students to provide internal services, business casual guidelines may be selected by the
Business Unit Head. There may be circumstances that warrant variation within guidelines established. For example:

| There are some forms of dress that are not appropriate in Stern's professional setting. These include: shorts, tank tops, beach sandals, sneakers, athletic wear, jeans and any clothing that could be regarded as brief, form fitting or revealing. | ||||||||
