How to Download and Install Adobe Reader 9

You can download the latest version of Adober Reader (9.1) directly from the Adobe website.
1. Close all applications on your computer.
2. Open your internet browser and type in the url: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
3. Click Download. (UNCHECK the Free Google Toolbar option, unless you want the toolbar.)

4. You may need to click the gold bar at the top of your browser screen to start the installation.

5. If a dialog box appears with the option to Run or Save, click Run.

6. If you get the following message, select Install.

7. The Installation menu should appear on your screen, Adobe Reader will take a few minutes to install. After installation, you may need to restart your computer for all of the changes to take effect.

8. Once installed, the Adobe Reader 9 icon should be on your desktop.
