Printing to Stern Network Printers for Faculty and Administrators

Stern offers Faculty and Administrators access to networked departmental printers. To install a departmental printer on your PC follow the instuctions below.

Installation Instructions:

Click here to download and open the iPrint installation program. You will see the following screen appear:

Choose Run, the following screen may appear:

If this screen appears, click on Run again. The software will run and install on your PC. If the computer is running Windows 98 or 2000, reboot after the software installs. You must reboot before proceeding to install printers in order for it to work.
If your computer is running Windows XP, you may continue without rebooting.

Visit this page to and locate your departmental printer's name and click on it. You will see a message when the printer has been successfully installed. Click OK to close the message.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed a Stern printer.

To print to the printer, simply choose the name of the printer from the printer selection menu in your windows program, as illustrated below:

The first time you print to the printer, the following Novell iPrint Client Printer Authentication box will pop-up. Type in your Stern username and password. We recommend that you choose to save your password here, avoiding future prompts. If you do not choose to save your password, you will need to reenter it each time before printing.

Instructions to Un-Install iprint software and printers:
