Stern Helpdesk Service View

You may contact the Help Desk at 212-998-0180 or helpdesk@stern.nyu.edu to report a problem or to request assistance. You may also submit a Help Desk request through Stern's Helpdesk Service View.

Login to Helpdesk Service View

  1. Login to http://helpdesk.stern.nyu.edu/. Your username and password are the same as for your Stern email account.

Create a New Requestnone

2. From the Service View homepage you will see a button to Create a New Request. Click on that button to get to the new request screen.

3. From the new request screen, select a category for your problem from the drop-down menu. In the example below we select Email.

4. After selecting a category for your problem, type a Detailed Description of the problem in the text box provided. Once you have finished click the Save button to Save your New Request. A message will appear asking you to refresh your screen to see your new Request appear on your My Requests list. Click OK. Then click Refresh in the upper right-hand corner of your Service View home page. You should then see your new request appear on your My Requests list on your Service View homepage.
