Pilot Projects

Wireless Attendance: We are piloting the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to take attendance in large classrooms.  The room being used for the test is KMC 2-60.

Teamspot:  Stern IT and select MBA students are testing a collaboration tool called Teamspot that will allow small groups of students to view and edit the same document collectively then save the revised document back to their own notebooks.  If the evaluation period goes well, the product may be purchased for all MBA group study rooms.

Collaboration Software: The EMBA and Langone program are testing a collaboration system (similar to Webex), based on Adobe Connect (http://www.adobe.com/products/connect/ ).
