Email Services
Learning how to manage your messages is a crucial task. You've got
better things to do than to wade through your inbox searching for that
one important message. Fortunately, our email services provide you with
the tools you need to successfully manage your email.

Connect webmail
Need to check your mail but the email client on the computer you're
using isn't configured properly? Not a problem!
Thanks to Connect, students have access to their email through
any computer equipped with a web browser and an Internet connection.
No settings or configurations are necessary. Simply type in the address
(http://connect.stern.nyu.edu)
and login with your Stern NetID and password.
Desktop email

SIMON
All members have of the Stern community have access to the Stern Intranet
Mail accOunt maNager, better known as SIMON.
Using it you can manage the settings of your email account, such as:
- Changing your password
- Automatically forwarding your mail to another account
- Setting up an auto-responder for times when you won't be able to
access your email, such as when you're on vacation
- Setting up a security question in case you forget your password
Plus there are more features, like the ability to search the Stern

Mail List Manager
Faculty and select employees also have another tool at their disposal:
the Hermes Mail List Manager.
Hermes is tool for managing mailing lists. Using Hermes you can:
- Add and remove members from lists you manage
- Control who has the ability to manage your lists
- Dictate who can send email to a list
