Stern WebMail, web pages and Intranet sites are accessible from remote locations equipped with a computer with Internet access and a recent web browser.
NYU DIAL Account
NYU's Information Technology Services (ITS) offers Direct Internet Access
Link (DIAL) service to all NYU students. DIAL accounts provide modem-based
internet connections. For more information, including DIAL configuration

NYU ResNET
ResNet (NYU's Residential Networking Service) provides a network connection
that allows students to access the Internet, NYUHome, and/or Stern WebMail
from their residence hall via an Ethernet connection (as opposed to
connecting through a modem).
