III. Classroom and Event Technology Group (CETG)

1) Equipment available for setup in classroom and special event venues include:

• Wired and wireless microphones for amplification or recordings.
• PA system with DVD playback.
• Projector for classroom computer, laptop, DVD, and/or VHS display.
• Document camera for classroom use.
• Television with DVD and/or VHS playback.
• In-room mounted camera or DV camcorder for video recordings.

2) “Best effort” support is provided with the following services:

• Media transcoding

Conversion from VHS/CD/DVD/Mini-DV to an electronic media format.
Transfer to DVD, if requested

• Video conferencing – Testing and preparation of video conference units located in Stern.
• Digital voice recordings – MiniDisc or MP3 recorder device assistance.
