In order to do this, a firm has to constantly track consumers, monitor the environment, and keep an eye on competition. We have more than 25 full-time faculty members from all over the world with several areas of expertise including consumer behavior, market research, advertising, pricing, new product development, brand planning, trademark, high-tech marketing, international marketing, and marketing in interactive environments. Ranked as one of the top five departments in the world based on research productivity, our department boasts over 100 publications in the last three years of which about two-thirds are in top-tier scholarly journals. Located in New York City, we are in the enviable position of being able to take advantage of our access to professionals in the world's most exciting business community. We hire the best professionals to teach in our classrooms as clinical or adjunct faculty. Several members of our faculty have won teaching awards, written textbooks, and are involved in efforts to improve the quality of teaching at Stern. They also hold leadership positions in the school.
