|Pan-African Community Development Initiative|
The Pan-African Community Development Initiative seeks to promote financial inclusion and economic advancement among low-income populations in New York. Stern students Samuel Miller, Greg Talamo and Azeez Salami created marketing materials to increase the organization’s visibility among potential donors, partners and the local community. They also helped develop a mentorship network among similar organizations to aid in the development of Federal Credit Unions in local NYC communities.
“Strategy with a Social Purpose differed from all of our other classes in that the emphasis was on applied rather than theoretical learning. Everything is happening real-time, rather than a look-back as part of a case study,” reflected MBA student Greg Talamo.
