Volunteer Opportunities

NYU Stern’s global alumni network is only as strong as each individual’s commitment to participate. Stern offers many opportunities and ways to volunteer your resources to both current students and fellow alumni. Add to the many opportunities alumni have to volunteer by sharing your expertise and resources with the alumni community.
Lend Your Expertise:
  • Explore Speaking Opportunities: come back to campus to offer industry insights, career advice, and direction to current students and fellow alumni.
  • Become an Entrepreneurship Volunteer: get involved through the W.R. Berkley Innovation Lab.
  • New Venture Program: assist Stern students and alumni with insight, advice, and professional and educational wisdom to help entrepreneurs address the key issues for the success of their new or emerging business.
Volunteer with Recruitment: attend a reception for newly-admitted students or participate in an information session to speak with prospective students worldwide.
Volunteer with Student Groups: engage with current students through clubs and professionals group events.

Engage with Alumni Groups: attend events and volunteer with an alumni group in your area or with an alumni group that fits your specific industry, affinity or special interest.
Become an NYU Torchbearer: Torchbearers is a group of alumni volunteers who assist NYU’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions in recruiting superior undergraduate students.
