Advanced Features in Blackboard 8.0
The Advanced Features in Blackboard training is designed for faculty who feel comfortable using Blackboard and are looking to take their skills to the next level. The workshop will explore communication and assessment tools in Blackboard: Discussion Board, Test & Quiz, Turnitin Assignments and Grade Center. You will learn how these tools can be integrated, allowing you to create a powerful and flexible learning experience. All sessions will be hands-on.
The Workshop Format:
- Hands-on Session on the advanced Blackboard functionality: Learn how to create Blackboard & Turnitin Assignments; Manage the Grade Center and launch Discussion Board
- Review of Best Practices
- Support of Blackboard advanced features at Stern
- Administer students online submission via Blackboard
- Grade Center management
- Create collaboration assignments using the Discussion Board
All sessions will be hands-on and laptops will be provided. You can also bring your personal laptop.
