Diann Witt

Assistant Dean of Planning and Student Services

Diann Witt is the Assistant Dean of Planning and Academic Services in the Undergraduate College. In this position, Assistant Dean Witt manages the planning and reporting activities of the College, which encompasses learning assessment initiatives; enrollment, course section and financial planning; and reporting on admissions, student and course data.
Within academic services, she oversees the International Exchanges and Special Programs area, which coordinates Stern's International Business Exchange Program (IBEX), the planning aspects of the International Studies Program (ISP) trips, and the Stern Around the World (SAW) special short-term programs. She also collaborates with Stern’s Academic Advising team and NYU’s Office of Financial Aid to work with students who are in financial difficulty.
Assistant Dean Witt has more than 19 years of experience in higher education in areas that span academic advising, career counseling, international programs, and student services. Prior to entering higher education, she worked in the fashion industry. She earned a B.S. with Distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from New York University.
