Diann Witt

Diann Witt is the Assistant Dean of Planning and Student Services in the Undergraduate College. In this position, Dean Witt manages the planning and reporting activities of the College, which encompasses strategic planning, budgeting, enrollment planning, and learning assessment initiatives. Dean Witt collaborates with Stern’s Academic Advising team and NYU’s Office of Financial Aid to work with students who are in academic or financial difficulty. She also oversees the logistical coordination of academic year and special session course offerings.

Dean Witt has more than 18 years of experience in higher education in areas that span academic advising, career counseling, international programs, and student services. Prior to entering higher education, she worked in the fashion industry in the buying offices of the May Merchandising Company and the Mercantile Stores Company, Inc. She earned a B.S. with Distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she majored in Marketing and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from New York University.
