Diversity and Inclusion Sessions for New Students
New students participated in a full day of activities focused on diversity and inclusion and student leaders participated in a training that highlighted the importance of creating inclusive communities. The programs facilitated an important dialogue on identity, diversity, and inclusion, and highlighted the importance of these values in our community.
 
Academic Achievement Opportunity

Stern partnered with NYU’s College of Arts and Sciences on the Academic Achievement Program (AAP), which enhances the academic and leadership development of Black, Latino, Native American, and other underrepresented minority first year students.

Large Scale Events
The Undergraduate College supports the efforts of the club and organizations to host diversity related events.

Professional Development
Through the Cohort Leadership Program, students participated in Stern Talks, which introduced to the most popular business industries.  These talks provided a foundational framework for industries and helped explore different career paths. 
 
Diversity and Safe Zone Training for Staff and Faculty
This fall, faculty and staff continue participating in diversity training, which will provide information on the systems of power, privilege and oppression at work in our society. It will also provide them with tools to practice better allyship in their roles.
