Research Resources

Funded Faculty Research at Stern

Research lies at the heart of the Stern School’s mission. Our goal is to provide generous support to every faculty member who has exhibited significant research productivity in the recent past, and to provide more limited support to faculty members who are embarking on new research efforts.  The document on Research Support linked here outlines the types of support and the procedures that govern them.

Apply for a Grant

To apply for a grant, contact Karyn Jeannopolous, Associate Director of Funded Faculty Research at x80683,  She will help find funding, prepare a budget and take care of all the administrative requirements; the faculty member only writes the research proposal.

Stern provides incentives for faculty to obtain grants with overhead funding through Stern.  If funding is given in support of a faculty member but with no stated purpose, it is considered a gift and is managed by Stern’s Development Department.
