Summer Start Program

The Summer Start Program allows full-time students to get an early start on their coursework while simultaneously, it creates an environment in which students can recognize their own leadership potential. The program begins the second week in July and concludes just prior to Pre-Term in August. U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible for summer federal aid. To apply, students will submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • The 2013-2014 FAFSA will be used for summer and fall/spring packaging.
International students residing here in the U.S. on an eligible visa, must demonstrate that they will have sufficient financial resources throughout the duration of their studies. Resources may include company sponsorship, merit-based Stern scholarships (if applicable), external aid and personal finances. However, international students may also apply for private loans on a semester-only basis or for the full academic year (fall and spring). Please note that if applying for a summer loan, it must have a summer-only loan period. Summer cannot be combined with a fall-spring loan period.
