Moral Contract Scholarship
The Moral Contract Scholarship program was established in 2010 by an anonymous donor. It is awarded annually to one first-year, full-time MBA student. The scholarship intends to foster an interest in philanthropy and create a group of like-minded Stern alumni who understand the importance of giving back to the School. Within five years of graduation, the recipient will ideally begin to share their success and start giving back to Stern. Thus, they will enable future students to excel and succeed.
All incoming first-year students are invited to apply for the scholarship. The application consists of an essay and one page resume. The essay should be no longer than two pages, double-spaced and should answer the following questions:
- Why would you like to be considered for the scholarship?
- How have you helped others succeed through your contributions?
- How do you intend to contribute to Stern as an alumnus/a?
- How will you enable future students to excel at Stern?
