Block | Core Group Leaders

Block Leaders
Students are elected in September of each year by their respective block mates. Block candidates must run as individuals, not as slates or teams. Each block must elect at least one international student and at least one domestic student as a Block Leader.  Students who wish to run for block leader can submit their nomination to the Executive VP of SGov.  

Core Group Leaders
At the onset of the part-time MBA program, students are grouped into core groups of 60-70 students. Incoming students elect two representatives from each core group to serve as core group Leader. Core group leaders work very closely with Academic Affairs to help disseminate information about the program to their peers as well as organize events for their core groups. Students interested in more information should contact Office of Student Engagement.

Block & Core Group Funds
Each block and core group receives a stipend of $1000 to promote block & core group activities during the academic year.
