What is a custom program?

Stern faculty and the Executive Education team partner with organizations from around the world to design, develop and deliver specialized professional development programs. Tailored for executives, business leaders and functional managers of a single company or entity, custom programs transform organizations with each learning experience.

How can a custom program help my company?

We work with you to develop highly-customized, application-oriented initiatives that result in enhanced individual and organizational effectiveness. We can address year-over-year growth and other key challenges you are facing. Our experiential initiatives, whether in capability building or in transformative change management, aim high to move your strategy from vision to action; to imagine what's possible and to unlock potential.

What topics are typically included in a custom program?

Your custom program includes and integrates topics in strategy, leadership, finance, marketing and innovation, among others.

Who are the faculty presenters in a Stern custom program?

Stern has more than 200 full-time research and clinical faculty, including 3 Nobel Laureates, and a robust pool of practitioner adjunct faculty. When possible, we also include key executives from your organization and / or industry practitioners.

Where are Stern's custom programs held?

Our custom programs can be held in NYC at the NYU Stern campus in Greenwich Village or at a domestic/international location of your choice. If you elect to have the program at Stern, sessions will be held at the Stern Kaufman Management Center located at 44 West Fourth Street.

If the program is at NYU Stern, where do participants stay?

There are a number of excellent hotels within the vicinity of our campus. If you would like to stay at a hotel close to campus, please see our list of New York area hotels.

What is the price of a Stern custom program?

Pricing is based on a number of factors, including program length, number of participants and where the program is held. Please contact us for more details.

How many people can participate in a custom program?

Stern custom programs are optimized for groups of 20-30 people; however, we can cater to any group size based on the needs of your organization. Contact us today to discuss options for your program.

Will participants receive a certificate for attending a custom program?

Yes. Participants who complete a Stern custom program will receive a certificate of participation.
