Specializations

Tailor your business education with up to three specializations.

For students wishing to focus their studies, the NYU Stern Executive MBA program offers seven to ten specializations. Specializations may vary from year to year and class by class depending upon the elective courses offered.  Up to three specializations are possible. Students are not required to declare a specialization.


Each specialization requires completion of at least nine credits chosen from relevant courses defined by the faculty. Of these nine, up to three credits may be completed through additional courses in the Langone Part-time MBA program. The credits attached to a course generally vary with the amount of classroom time for the course; a full course has three credits.
