International Students
Leverage NYU resources for a smooth transition to the U.S.
The NYU Stern community is as global as our New York location. In fact, more than a third of our students and faculty are international. We offer our international students a number of special resources, including:
Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS)
OISS offers programs and guidance related to everything from your first visit to campus to the visa application process. View the OISS
International Student Guide.
Career Workshops for International Students
Stern offers a number of programs to help our international students succeed, such as classes in American English for business communication and mock "cocktail receptions" to help prepare for the recruiting season. In fact, Stern has a dedicated Director for international students and recruiting within its Office of Career Development.
International Student Clubs
Stern’s
community-based clubs provide a supportive environment, as well as the opportunity to network with alumni and share your culture with your new friends at Stern.
International Passport Day
Each spring, Stern hosts International Passport Day, a celebration of the cultural diversity of our community.
Housing
International students may choose to live in
on-campus housing. It’s a great way to make an instant network of friends, while living steps away from Stern.
