Program Format
  • The Master of Science in Risk Management program is a one year long, part-time program divided into five on-site class sessions (modules) at NYU Stern in New York and two rotating global locations. 
  • This part-time format reduces the absence from the office to approximately 5 weeks over the course of the year. 
  • Between modules, students complete an average of 15-20 hours per week of work via distance learning.

  • Module 2: Amsterdam - August 8-13, 2016 (1 week)
  • Module 3: New York - October 31- November 11, 2016 (2 weeks)
  • Module 4: Abu Dhabi - February 27- March 4, 2017 (1 week)
  • Module 5: New York - Project Presentation - May 16, 2017 (1 day)

Class Size Limited to 60
Fee $70,800 fee for the Class of 2018 includes tuition, course materials, some meals and official events. Hotel and travel expenses are not included

A tuition deposit of $6,800 is required to secure a spot in the Class of 2018 and is due upon acceptance to the program.

Participant Profile:
  • Experienced managers and/or Risk professionals taking on greater responsibilities or broader strategic planning roles in the area of Risk Management
  • Seasoned Sr. Managers, MDs, Corporate Board Members, VPs with Risk management/oversight responsibility
Program Details: The Master of Science in Risk Management Program for executives is designed with busy working professionals in mind.

Participants live and work in their home countries full-time and attend five concentrated, rigorous modules, three in New York, one in Amsterdam, and one in Abu Dhabi, over a one year period.

There is an optimization of classroom time, with usage of distance learning between modules.  The modules are time intensive so that all teaching is done in-person only.  To read more about the program curriculum and academic details, please follow this link to the course index page.
