Global Courses

  • The Craft & Commerce of Cinema: this week-long trip to the Cannes Film Festival in France takes place in May after the conclusion of the spring semester
  • International Social Impact Strategies: this course travels to Colombia during winter break and gives students hands-on exposure to the entrepreneurial pursuit of social impact in developing economies
  • Operations: Panama Canal: this course explores the principles of Operations Management through study of the Panama Canal, and culminates with a trip to Panama at the end of the semester
  • Social Problem-Based Entrepreneurship: in this course, students from a range of NYU graduate schools form teams to create and incubate entrepreneurial solutions to social problems, and visit India to see social entrepreneurship in practice

International Club Treks

  • One-week, spring break trips organized by various academic and community clubs
  • International treks are typically hosted by the Asian Business Society, Association of Hispanic and Black Business Students, Japan Business Association, Emerging Markets Association, European Business Society and Social Enterprise Association
  • Recent destinations include: Brazil, Chile, India, Thailand, and South Africa, as well as Australia, Israel, and Japan (pictured below)
