Merit-Based Scholarships

New Students

Langone MBA Scholarship
The Langone MBA Scholarship is awarded upon admission to meritorious Langone applicants for the Manhattan Weeknight, Saturday, and Accelerated Two-Year programs. Scholarships are in the amount of $10,000 and are applied to tuition in the recipient’s first academic year of the program. Applicants for both the Fall and Spring terms, and for all Manhattan program options (Weeknights, Saturday, and Accelerated Two-Year), are eligible and can request consideration for these merit-based scholarships when completing the application. The Langone MBA Scholarship is for the first academic year of the program only and is not renewable.

Stern Forté Fellowship
Stern is a member of the Forté Foundation, a consortium of top business schools and companies dedicated to directing talented women toward leadership roles in business. Each year, select scholarship recipients with an interest in promoting women in business, are designated as Forté Fellows. Stern Forté Fellows participate in the annual Forté Conference, held in June, which includes networking opportunities with lead executives and with MBA students from sponsor schools, along with panel discussions and workshops that foster professional and personal development.

Continuing Students

Scholarships, in the form of donor awards, are available to Langone MBA students who have completed at least 30 credits at Stern.

Scholarships are merit-based and are awarded by NYU Stern Graduate Financial Aid in the Fall semester based on the criteria established by Stern donors. As the selection process takes place each fall, students must have completed 30 credits by the end of the prior spring semester in order to be considered. The awarded funds can be used to cover tuition only. Typically, no application is necessary, and all eligible students are considered.
