International Studies Program
Experience global business firsthand
Through our one-of-a-kind Barr Family International Studies Program (ISP), every Stern junior in the business program and in the BPE program
(beginning with the BPE Class of 2017) studies abroad for one week. This trip is an important part of a course taken in the spring of junior year. The ISP course explores economic, cultural, and political histories of countries as well as the opportunities and challenges for international firms today. Students focus on a specific industry and then travel overseas together to meet with company executives, and observe a country’s culture firsthand.
ISP is made possible thanks to the generous support of Stern alumnus and Overseer Edward Barr and his wife Nancy.
