Nikolaus Greb is a research associate at the Tech and Society Lab, with a particular interest in human flourishing. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics-Statistics (minor: Physics) from Whitman College, where he played NCAA baseball. In 2024, he interned at the Colorado Summer Institute in Biostatistics (CoSIBS) at Anschutz Medical Campus. Nik remains confident the Mariners will win a World Series — someday.

****Childhood Free Play Memory:****
Sports were a central part of my life growing up, culminating in playing NCAA Division III baseball at Whitman College. I fondly remember playing wiffle ball in my backyard with friends, trying to hit home runs over the fence and nervously knocking on the neighbor’s door to retrieve the ball. A mix of thrill, fear, and laughter that perfectly captures the freedom of childhood play.
