##  About Ali Felman

Ali joined the Management & Organizations PhD program in 2025. She is broadly interested in how our identities and workplace behaviors are shaped by social class mobility, job precarity & insecurity, and long-term unemployment. She is also interested in qualitative methods and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Ali earned her BA in Sociology from Wesleyan University and her MS from Baruch College in
Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Before beginning her doctoral studies, Ali worked in human resources and as a middle school English teacher.
