The morning welcome was given by **Peter Henry**, Dean of *NYU Stern.* Directly following, Professor **Stijn Van Nieuwerburgh**, Director of the *Center for Real Estate Finance Research* at NYU Stern, gave a brief talk about **The State and Prospects for the U.S. Economy and Residential Real Estate**.

Our lunchtime keynote speaker was **Tim Mayopoulos**, CEO of *Fannie Mae*.
